Seldovia Community Preschool’s mission is to “provide a high quality, place-based preschool program for Seldovia area residents”.

Philosophy
At Seldovia Community Preschool our child-centered curriculum is oriented toward developing social and emotional skills alongside cognition and general knowledge. The environment of our school is carefully constructed to provide spaces for the children to explore and interact with materials and each other in ways that help them grow in their social, emotional, and physical development. Fostering social skills, self-direction, problem solving, independence, and a love of learning are all goals of our preschool.
